By installing or using this extension you agree to these terms. The extension is a personal productivity tool. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with Google's Terms of Service and applicable laws. The Unlimited license is a one-time purchase, per-device, and non-refundable after use.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Google Photos - Custom Album Download Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of the Extension

The Extension is a browser tool that automates the download of Google Photos albums to your local device, preserving original album order. It operates entirely within your browser and interacts only with Google Photos pages that you navigate to yourself.

3. License Tiers

The Extension is offered under two tiers:

Free tier — available to all users at no cost. Downloads are limited to 100 items per batch.
Unlimited tier — available for a one-time payment of $10 USD, granting unlimited downloads. A Unlimited license is activated on a per-device basis and may be deactivated and transferred to another device at any time through the Settings page.

4. Purchases and Payment

All payments are processed by Dodo Payments. By completing a purchase you agree to Dodo Payments' terms and policies. The following conditions apply to your purchase:

The Unlimited license is a one-time purchase — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
Your license key grants one active device slot at a time. You can deactivate and reactivate on different devices as needed.
Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase provided the license key has not been activated on any device. Once a key has been activated, the purchase is considered fulfilled and is non-refundable.
We reserve the right to revoke a license that we reasonably determine has been shared, resold, or used in violation of these Terms.

5. Permitted Use

You may use the Extension to download photos and videos from Google Photos albums to which you have legitimate access — albums you own or albums that have been shared with you with download permissions. You agree to use the Extension solely for lawful personal purposes.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Use the Extension to download content you do not have the right to download or distribute.
Use the Extension in any way that violates Google's Terms of Service or any applicable law or regulation.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension for the purpose of circumventing the free-tier limits or license validation.
Share, resell, or redistribute license keys.
Use the Extension for any automated bulk harvesting of third-party content beyond your own personal library.

7. No Affiliation with Google

This Extension is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. "Google Photos" is a trademark of Google LLC. Use of the Extension is subject to Google's own Terms of Service for Google Photos.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will continue to function if Google changes the structure of Google Photos. We make no guarantees regarding download completeness, file integrity, or compatibility with future browser versions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Extension. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Unlimited license ($10 USD), or zero if you are using the free tier.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of this Extension from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Extension.

11. Changes to the Extension or Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Extension at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the Extension after a change is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If we make material changes to the Unlimited license terms, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the developer's jurisdiction of residence.
